Nice park. Good connection from Merenwijk to the singel (centre)
You can freely visit the quite large alotment area during days to have a look at Dutch alotment culture. You will have to ask permission to visit individual gardens however, as it is not commonplace to enter them. No, the peering needs to be done from the paths and only in a non obtrusive way. Rule of thumb: if people are present, don't gawk but rather move on. On set times, one can participate in seedling exchanges, info about them can be obtained from the main building. Since I do not know any of the ins and outs of buying or renting there, I can not include this in my rating. So, if you are curious about Dutch community garden practises, or live in the area thinking about buying or renting an alotment, visit and ask!
this garden always enchants me, that's why. Whenever I can, I will walk there.
Beautiful and quiet place...Close to the nature without leaving the city!!!
